Vertical dual-chamber architecture

At the heart of the H APEX is its vertical dual-chamber architecture, which integrates a hydraulic cylinder and an elastomer cylinder in a single compact body. This solution ensures a smooth, progressive response and excellent long-term durability. The cylinder is made from one-piece die-cast aluminium and then CNC-machined, for precise tolerances and a solid structure with no weak points.

High-precision 5 MPa hydraulic sensor

The H APEX features a high-precision 5 MPa hydraulic sensor, capable of detecting even the lightest pressure on the lever. Every slightest change in force is translated into a precise input, so you can modulate rear wheel slip with the same sensitivity as a real handbrake. It is essential for holding the angle in a drift or tackling the tightest hairpins in rally.

Three force levels

Handbrake force can be set to three levels, simply by moving the pin position on the lever. Between position 1 and position 3 there is a 1.5× difference in force: you can choose a lighter, more responsive feel for drifting, or firmer resistance for rally. Changing the setting takes just a few seconds, so you can adapt the handbrake to every car and discipline.

Adjustable preload

In addition to the three force levels, the H APEX has a preload adjustment knob, which lets you precisely fine-tune the initial tension and lever resistance. By combining preload and pin position you can create a truly tailored feel, from an immediate, soft response to a harder, more solid lever right from the first millimetres of travel.

Precision engineering and zero play

The main load-bearing components are precision CNC-machined, and all moving parts are mounted on bearings for stable, smooth movement. The result is a handbrake with zero mechanical play, delivering consistent feedback and direct control with every pull. The structure is designed to maintain stable performance even under high, sustained loads, session after session.

All aluminium, compact and ready for your cockpit

The H APEX is made entirely from aluminium alloy, with a racing-industrial style in line with the Conspit ecosystem. It weighs just 0.77 kg and measures 153 × 40 × 273 mm, so it fits easily on any cockpit, even next to the shifter. It mounts via the 6 mm holes on the base, connects to your PC via direct USB and is configured with Conspit Link 2.0.
